Our history
Coastal Engineering Company was established in 1976 to address the civil engineering needs of our local community. In 1983, Coastal Engineering Company merged with the land surveying firm of Nickerson & Berger, creating a full-service, multi-disciplined engineering and land surveying firm. Over the last 30 years, we have continued to broaden our expertise to address the complex needs of our clients in this environmentally-sensitive area.
Our team
Coastal Engineering’s experienced staff — including licensed engineers, staff engineers, soil evaluators, hydrogeologists, and environmental specialists — provide full site consultation, design plans and documents, and construction contract administration services for private and public agencies.
Our years of experience in addressing environmental issues and working cooperatively with regulatory agencies help us to provide guidance and recommendations to our clients, even if unforeseen circumstances should arise. We work in partnership with our clients to accommodate their engineering needs.
