Fontaine Medical Center, Harwich, MA
About this project:
Because of increasing demand for healthcare services in many lower Cape communities, including Brewster, Harwich, Chatham, Eastham and Orleans, the former Long Pond Medical Center has been transformed into the Fontaine Medical Center. With greatly expanded building space, additional parking, and an updated wastewater treatment facility, this new state-of-the-art medical center now provides convenient, high-quality medical care in a full-service family health facility
Coastal Engineering's services included:
- Site assessment and design
- Sewage disposal system design and inspections
- Civil engineering design and plan preparation, including utilities, grading, stormwater drainage, existing conditions, and site plans
- Installation of groundwater monitoring wells
- Environmental and regulatory permitting with town, county, and state authorities
- Field construction survey and construction contract administration.
