Narragansett Regional High School Wind Turbine, Templeton, MA
About this project:
The town of Templeton received a grant from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (MTC) to develop a 1.5-megawatt wind turbine project at the Narragansett Regional High School. The wind turbine project is a joint effort between the Templeton Municipal Light & Water Company and the Narragansett Regional School District – which together have formed the Green Energy Educational Collaborative – to capture multiple benefits, including renewable energy for consumers and educational activities for students as part of the district’s curriculum.
