Harwich Middle School/Harwich Elementary School, Harwich, MA
About this project:
The Harwich Elementary and Middle Schools are located on adjacent lots on South Street and Sisson Road, respectively. Because of the close proximity of the two schools, the Town of Harwich was able to install a common innovative wastewater treatment facility that is shared by both schools. This provided a cost savings to the Town for both the initial design and construction costs as well as the on-going costs for scheduled maintenance and monitoring of the system.
Coastal Engineering's services included:
- Wastewater treatment plant design
- Wastewater treatment plant operation and maintenance.
